Eminent Correspondent

Section 5: The Eminent Correspondent

There are several thousand living Tennessee Kappa alumni today. They care and want to know what is going on in the undergraduate chapter. Sigma Alpha Epsilon carries a strong position in Knoxville and many people are watching – even those that are not in the brotherhood. The Eminent Correspondent has the responsibility to ensure our best face is the most visible.

The Eminent Correspondent will:

1. Conduct all correspondence of the chapter. This includes thanking ALL Greek organizations for various philanthropic events in writing.

2. Prepare all reports requested by the National Office and forward such reports to the appropriate National Office.

3. Report chapter news to The Record. Our chapter MUST turn in some news to The Record each quarter.

4. Develop and maintain all social media accounts; keeping them all active and representative of the chapter

5. Not commit the chapter to any contract, whether written or verbal or otherwise, nor has any spending authority whatsoever.

6. Perform all duties set forth in the National Laws, Title VII, Article 53, Section E.
